Avy is a fixed-wing drone. It’s agile like a drone, capable of vertically taking off and landing from any surface. It’s efficient like a plane and relies on its wings when airborne, enabling it to fly far Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) without having to recharge.

With this blend of features, Avy gives you fast, easy and safe access to places that are remote and hard-to-reach.

The electric long-range drone is 100% emission-free and implemented at a fraction of the cost of a helicopter or a plane.

Customizable drone

Remember the Thunderbirds? As we foresaw so many potential applications for Avy, and because we are a little nerdy, the Thunderbird 2 inspired us to develop a modular payload-bay. This way we can easily swap the payload modules, changing the application from "Cooled Medical Cargo" to "Thermal Imaging", and from "Multispectral" to "Mapping" in a matter of minutes.

Avy was developed in partnership with the European Space Agency and Delft University of Technology. We collaborate with other tech suppliers to integrate cameras, sensors and software. This allows us to operate at the forefront of technology, creating solutions in a fast and innovative way.

Avy has partnered up with Auterion, the operating system for safe, reliable and efficient drone operations at scale. Having the same platform running in the drone, cloud and ground station ensures high performance in workflow streams.

Auterion Cloud Insights -
The web application allows remote software updates and can be used to manage wing drone fleets, monitor their performance in the field, and offer real-time support.

Auterion Enterprise PX4 - The operating system onboard provides core flight functionality, integration with sensors and payloads, and failsafe behaviour required by regulators.
